Slope: Etna South

Schedule: from 3.30 pm to 9.00 pm

1st stop: Lava caves. Explore Etna's lava caves while our friendly and knowledgeable guide will explain the fascinating volcanic phenomena. We will provide helmets and lights.

2nd stop: Bove Valley. A natural stage where often the most spectacular lava eruptions are. In a clear sky day the summit crater will be visible in all their beauty. You will reach it hiking through ash deserts and lava lunar landscapes. There you will wait the magic moment of the sunset on the volcano and have your aperitif.

*In some special cases (i.e. bad weather conditions) some stops can be replaced with some local Etna wine, honey and olive oil guided tasting in a production farm.

This half day Etna tour is adviced to everybody that is in normal good health conditions and that does not have any heart or breathing problems.
