One of Etna Experience’s expert naturalistic guides will pick you up at 2:30 / 3:00 p.m. from your hotel in Catania or from an agreed meeting point, to take you aboard one of our 8-seater vehicles (jeep or minivan).
You will visit some ancient craters (probably the Monti Silvestri) surrounded by an evocative lunar landscape.
The guide will accompany you through a suggestive naturalistic path, explaining the origins of our volcano.
You will then reach a panoramic viewpoint overlooking the Bove Valley (the main scenery of the last eruptions) from where you can also admire the Summit Craters.
Explore the lava caves of Etna, while our guide will explain you the fascinating volcanic phenomena. We will provide helmets and torches.
You will wait for the magic moment of the sunset on the volcano, having your picnic up an extinct crater at 2000 meters.
The Mt Etna Sunset tour will finish at 8:30 / 9:30 p.m, when you will come back to Catania.
