Start. One of Etna Experience’s expert naturalistic guides will pick you up at 8:30 a.m. from your hotel in Catania or from an agreed meeting point, to take you aboard one of our 8-seater vehicles (jeep or minivan).
Trekking. Hours of fascinating trekking around the most interesting places on the North-East side of Etna, scene of the last impressive eruption: Piano Provenzana.
Lunch. There will be another break for a tasty and natural “packed lunch” offered by Etna Experience
Wild nature. Different naturalistic routs with a scheduled circumnavigation of a button-like row of craters, lava-flowing caves and native plants. The tour is also designed for trekking and nature lovers, in good health conditions. Pauses are planned during the hike and this walk is smoother due to the very few obstacles.
Explore the lava caves of Etna. In the afternoon, you will visit a volcanic cave using the equipment provided (helmets and torches) to safely explore it. Our expert guide will introduce you, with some basic information on speleology, to the fascintating phenomena often related to eruptions.
Come back. The Mt Etna Full Day Tour will finish at 5:30/6:00 p.m., when you will come back to Catania.
All year round:
• € 85 for adults;
• € 75 for students up to 24 years;
• not available for children from 0 to 12 years.
